On the Picnic event I spoke to Nils Rooijmans who was enthusiastic about the new search core search engine ilse has been using. Ilse Media took a licence on the French search technology Exalead to give better search results orientated on the Netherlands.
A beta version is now available online to allow specialized bloggers to respond. Soon, the new Ilse.nl (beta) will be launched. Vertically orientated search channels will follow. It is good that an alternative next to Google is being developed.
