New locally written Icelandic search engine on it’s way?
Kristjan Mar Hauksson Apr 17, 2006 I stumbled on a new creation of Spurl Ltd, an Iceland-based search engine company. The URL is www.zniff.com and it obviously is still in a testing phase. They claim that you search the entire Web or 8 million Icelandic pages. If they crawled the entire web or are buying those results from another company is open for depate. Sprul is best known for their online bookmarking service, Spurl.net.
