Isae has published statistics on use of Information Technology in the Italian household:
- 49,6% of Italian families now own a PC, up from 45,3% last year
- 43,1% are now connected to the Internet, up from 38,7% – 75% of active connections are broadband
- DVD players and digital TV (satellite or digital terrestrial) also show a significant rise now at 52% and 29,9%
