China is regularly in the news these days as the Chinese market hots up and becomes more search engine competitive – but if you’re in China you may not see that news, following new regulations announced and implemented today, reports Reuters.

Complying with the rules on internet news is somewhat tricky – as the Xinhua news agency which announced them did not also announce what they were – but you will have to have permission to run a news web site – including presumably a blog.
